With a name deriving from primus the Latin for ‘first’, it is no surprise that primroses will be amongst the first flowers to emerge in spring. If you take a walk in a woodland area and spot these wild white flowers with their yellow centres, it could be a sign of ancient woodland! These particular ones were photographed in North Devon and would be bright addition to any home decor.
