When the Buddleia begins to bloom, the garden is filled with buzzing and colour. The densely clustered flowers are a favourite amongst the bees and butterflies, hence its more common name, Butterfly Bush. While the butterflies feast on the nectar, there’s plenty of opportunity to sit and watch them – a favourite pastime. This mini print features a beautiful purple Buddleia with a comma butterfly perched happily in it’s flowers. It features hand-drawn ink detailing and each print is signed on the back.
