About the Artist
Hello! Welcome! I’m so glad you found my little corner of the internet.
I spent a decade of my young life living abroad and returned to the UK for university. Ever a lover of reading and fantasy worlds, I chose to study English literature and went on to become a secondary school teacher in London.
Art in various forms has always been a large part of my life, whether it be through oil painting, life drawing, creative writing or photography. But it wasn’t until I left the bustling city for the more rural areas of Bristol and North Devon, that I discovered a love for the verdant British countryside that so often captured my interest in novels.
In 2023, I left the classroom and began focusing on my art in earnest. I started learning the names of flora and fauna, exploring the countryside and noticing the details as seasons changed. After so long working in stressful environments, nature was restorative and making art brought a sense of joy and satisfaction. Soon, I longed to bring the beauty of the outdoors into the home.
My stationery collections, a nod to my literary & educational background, celebrate the vibrancy and variety of nature. I strongly believe aesthetically pleasing notebooks and memo pads inspire us to put pen to paper and are more deserving of our written thoughts, plans and stories.
Polaroid photography enabled me to capture the seasons as they changed. By lifting the emulsions of these, I’ve been able to develop art prints which bring a little token of Mother Nature into your home. Whether it’s the chill of a winter morning or the brightness of tulips in spring, there’s a season for everyone and an art print to match.
I hope you find a piece of nature here that you are able to adopt into your life to bring you joy!
